I started the Fine Arts course when I was placed into a
sculpture and drawing class after I was unable to continue with another
course. I
loved it, so decided to complete the course.
I have learnt so much about looking at the world, seeing the positive
and negative areas, about using different techniques and recognizing certain
styles and art movements.
I have certainly enjoyed this entire course, yet sculpture has become
my niche. I love working in clay, manipulating the coarse and solid mass
into classic forms, especially the human figure. I now work with wood
and metal, creating shapes and relating them into aesthetic and balanced
art works.
