Even as a small child I loved to read and dream of far-away places, surprising people and exotic cultures. Everything was there to be devoured, from Russian fairy tales to science fiction to the National Geographic.
TAFE has provided an opportunity for me to explore all kinds of new worlds, enabling me to develop my skills, particularly in the fields of printmaking and photography. The various techniques of printmaking intrigue and fascinate me especially the unpredictable effects of embossing and rolling colour. Etching and collographs are my current focus, with the resulting works reflecting my interest in architecture, travel and interiors.
